The Employeebank.ca LTD (EB) is a human resource support firm committed to providing the highest level of service to job seekers (employees) and employers. Our employer list ranges from some of Canada’s largest business’ right across the spectrum to the smaller family owned operations. For a multitude of reasons, a lot of employers may be reluctant to advertise for job openings themselves, and quite often will only post the position internally at best. Using an independent, unbiased third party like our selves, we can help these employers find quality workers for all aspects of their business, whether it is in manufacturing, assembly, trades, sales, office management, secretarial, even that unique one of a kind posting. For job seekers, the “Employeebank” is the best way to get their abilities promoted to hundreds of various employers at once. We actively promote the Employeebank by personal onsite employer visits, our web site, regular e-mail lists, and other misc. activities. Employers count on us to help prescreen job seekers and present the applicants in a uniform unbiased format for them to choose from. When filling positions, we only consider job seekers registered on the Employeebank. Although it is EB’s intent to find employment for as many job seekers as possible, WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE A JOB PLACEMENT TO ANY JOBSEEKER, AS WELL WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE FILLING A JOB OPENING TO ANY EMPLOYER.

EB respects the privacy of individuals in all aspects of our business operations we have a commitment to protecting the personal information of job seekers. Your personal information is only collected, used and disclosed by EB in accordance with this Privacy Policy. As a job seeker using the services of the EB you are asked to provide certain pieces of information in order for us to provide you with the best possible service. In addition to your contact details, your resume, and a description of the type of work you are looking for, your file may include, our interview notes, education records, reference letters, skill testing results, information obtained through reference and background checks, and other misc related information. We use this information to understand your qualifications, needs and preferences and to help find the best job opportunities that will give you the job satisfaction you are looking for, as well as fulfill employers requests for information about job candidates along with helping us develop our business and operations to better service job seekers and employers.

Personal information is never traded, sold or leased by us to any external companies other than for the expressed purpose of recruitment for EB legitimate business purposes, for employer client needs, and as required to meet legal and regulatory requirements. People under the age of 18, are advised to consult a parent or guardian before proceeding.

Bronze Employee Programs: In the normal course of business, when we are filling an “Employeebank” job posting (shown in white on the Job Bank) we will contact the jobseeker first to inform you of who the employer is, before we disclose information from your file to employers and or affiliates when we feel there is a potential for a job placement for the job seeker.

Several employers purchase an electronic job posting ad from us. These “employer ads” appear with yellow shading on the job bank. Please note that if you apply to be considered for any “employer job” postings under the bronze package, your full and complete information will be made totally available to the employer purchasing this electronic ad posting from the EB via a user name and password access system.

As a jobseeker registrant, you are relying on us to handle such information in a professional manner. As the job seeker may require a level of confidentiality, so do employer / affiliates. Any information we may pass along to a job seeker regarding a job placement, is confidential, and is meant to be used solely to assist you, the employer and the EB in making decisions regarding a particular job placement. In turn the employer / affiliate, has signed a contract with EB regarding handling all personal information according to EB privacy policies, and is required to have an implemented and monitored privacy policy in place to adequately handle this information in accordance to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. We can in no way guarantee or enforce this.

Information will be kept and retained for as long as you are using our placement services and we have adequate staff procedures and policies in place to ensure that your personal information, in both paper and encrypted electronic format, are secure within reason. All electronic and paper files are only accessible to EB employees. As well, electronic passwords are put in place to make access to information more difficult. Information may be forwarded to and received from EB through email and our website. Main employee files are stored electronically on a secure server in Canada. Any misc information in hard copy form would be stored at our head office location. Our website has encryption built in to provide a high level of security. As with any e-mails, any info transmitted to or from EB through email cannot be guaranteed as timely, totally reliable or secure, therefore this is done at the jobseeker’s own risk totally. Once our office receives this information we will take the necessary steps to preserve the security of this information in our office environment. EB relies on the information provided by you, as well as third parties such as those providing references, education institutions or those conducting background checks. In an ongoing effort to maintain accuracy with our records and information on file, we ask you provide us with your most up to date information. It is the EB’s intent to follow this privacy policy as close as possible,-- however the EB does not assume any responsibility for internal or external human error, malicious acts, false representations, computer fraud, acts of god,…etc…
